Applying to Mercer

Mercer University offers two ways to apply for admission, the Mercer Application or the Common Application. We do not have an application preference, and we encourage you to use the option that is most convenient for you.

Plan to spend some time filling out the application form. Be sure to have all of the information you will need close at hand (personal data, academic credentials, extracurricular involvement, etc.), and review your responses to check for accuracy.
Your personal statement should be exactly that - personal. This is your opportunity to tell us more about you, your interests, your ambitions, and your experiences. Be reflective. Be honest. Be original. Show us how you're ready to Be The Bear.
If after submitting your application, you discover an error or need to update your personal information, contact the Office of University Admissions at (800) 840-8577 or (478) 301-2650.
